Basics
When learning to make coffee, its important you know all that is needed. whether you're learning it for the first time, as you are just starting a new job or brushing up on the facts. Either way it is important that you know this information given below.
The coffee machine
All coffee machines aren't the same it will take time to learn what your using and how to use it whether it is a large commercial machine or a small domestic machine. These two machines show the same sort of format although a lot of small domestic machines are simple easy appliances to use.
large commercial coffee machineThis is an example of a large commercial machine, these machines are mostly found in coffee shops, cafes, restaurants or large offices. commercial coffee machines come in a range from 1-3 groups, this will be need to be decided before purchase according to how much coffee you need made and how fast.
1 Group machines are usually only used by businesses where coffee isn't needed frequently as it isn't a big part of there menu. These machines will generally only make between 20-30 coffees per day. 2 Group machineS are suitable for a business that is likely to do more then this. These machines are ideal for small businesses who need to withstand sudden rushes during busy parts of the day. A 2 group machine can average approximately 4 coffees every 2 minutes. while a 3 Group machine can produce around 6 coffees in the same time as a 2 group machine. These are much larger machines that provide additional storage space or cups/mugs above. This means a bigger machine may reduce the mess around the machine work space. |
small domestic machineThe photo above shows an example of a small domestic coffee machine. These machines are more used in a house hold as they are simple to use and still produce a good coffee. Domestic machines are very simple to use, some resembling a commercial machine some not.
